First Aid Responder is the new standard for first aid in Ireland, recognised by the Health and Safety Authority, the Health Service Executive and other organisations.

Education and Training Standards

Course Delivery

  • The course will be taught through classroom-style presentations and practical demonstrations.


Course Length

  • 18 hours (6 hours a day, across 3 days).


Course Size

  • Maximum of 8 students for every instructor.


Cost

  • €235 per person.


Location

  • Course can be delivered at a PTAS training site or at a location of the client's choosing.


Certification

  • Participants receive a PHECC First Aid Responder certificate, which is valid for two years.
